Talents Sarajevo
Talents Sarajevo, the first regional training programme in Southeast Europe launched in 2006, is a result of cooperation between the Sarajevo Film Festival and Berlin International Film Festival. Under the flagship of Berlinale Talents, Talents Sarajevo has a long-term strategy tailored to the specific needs of the film industry in Southeast Europe. The programme is fully integrated into CineLink Industry Days and welcomes approximately 50 up-and-coming film professionals from the region. Talents Sarajevo provides a unique opportunity for emerging film professionals to enhance their skills, expand their networks, and gain exposure to the international film industry.
Talents
A very important segment of the Talents Sarajevo platform is also its virtual dimension - the Online Talents Database. The pool of Talents, which will be growing each year serves primarily as a promotional and networking tool. The profiles of the participants display their general info and video samples of their work.
Mentors & Experts Segment
Talents Sarajevo is the program divided into eight modules. Each module is mentored by renowned international industry experts: Directors Summit, Producers Summit, Acting Studio, Camera Studio, Editing Studio, Pack&Pitch, Script Station and Talent Press. Alongside the training sessions and networking opportunities, participants have a chance to introduce themselves to established film professionals, highlight current trends and issues in the industry and facilitate connections within the international filmmaking community.
Acting Studio
Emerging performers from Southeast Europe will explore the ways in which the ongoing pandemic challenges the art of acting. A series of workshop sessions, discussions, master classes, and screenings will help them enrich their craft, experience and knowledge while traversing and challenging contemporary tendencies in acting for the cinema.

Script Station
Talents Sarajevo’s screenwriting lab provides emerging screenwriters with the opportunity to share and discuss their work-in-progress screenplays with their peers as well as with renowned script consultants.

Editing Studio
The Editing Studio brings together emerging editors from Southeast Europe and the Southern Caucasus who are ready to explore their artistry from different perspectives. A series of workshops, case studies and master classes elucidate editing as a creative process. Special attention is given to the editor’s close collaboration with other members of creative team.

Talent Press
Talent Press is a platform for up-and-coming film critics and journalists from Southeast Europe and the Southern Caucasus to deepen their knowledge of current trends in primarily regional cinema. Coached by two prominent film critics, participants review films and events throughout the festival, articulating their impressions and insights in a variety of media formats – from written articles and interviews to those more specific to social media apps and platforms.
